Zendaya, Amanda Seyfried & Christina Cooper steal the spotlight at the Emmys

“Euphoria” star Zendaya graced the Emmys red carpet with a customized Valentino gown. Dressed in a Valentino ballgown that featured a peplum bodice and a full skirt, the star paired the glamorous look with a voluminous hairstyle courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Tony Medina, and a soft glam from celebrity make artist Sheika Daley. Law Roach (Zendaya’s stylist) explained that the inspiration for the gown came from screen and runway icons Grace Kelly and Linda Evangelista. “We took inspiration from Grace Kelly and Old Hollywood movies. Zendaya and I were also really inspired by Valentino’s fall 1987 collection. There was a red dress that Linda Evangelista wore in an editorial, and we took inspiration from the bodice of the dress — but we made it black and the skirt a lot bigger.”

Amanda Seyfried well known for her role in “Mean Girls” and her television show “The Dropout” on Hulu shined in a beautiful sequin gown. Working with stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Seyfried wore Armani Privé’s shimmering sequin gown with tulle accents. “[Armani] really knows how to reinvent the wheel,” says Seyfried. “It felt classic, but new.” The star was instantly drawn to the frock’s strapless, body-hugging silhouette. “It was like an extra skin, like wearing body armor,” says Seyfried.

Christina Cooper, a new breakout actress & television producer, gave us a much needed pop of color on the carpet turning heads with a bright red classic chiffon silhouette House of CB dress paired with a bold red lip to match. With many guests wearing long gowns, Cooper switched things up to make a statement by wearing a bright color & going for something shorter. A classic, yet bold statement!
